Rythmik Love are an Electronic Dance Music Duo focusing on Pop / Dance themed Songs with a positive, upbeat and energetic vibe, boppy, Catchy lyrics and constantly evolving sound.
We have been noted to sound similair to artists like Aqua, Cascada, Kaskade, Alice Deejay and the like.

My name is Lee Shaw, I am 23 years old, I was born in Bendigo, Victoria, Australia, and lived in A southern state called Tasmania for 10 years before moving back to Victoria (south eastern suburbs.
I'm an aspiring "musician" and use a DAW (Digital audio workstation) to write my music, I have played the guitar on and off for about 11 years now, though find that I am much more creative behind a Digital Studio.
I use FL studio exclusively, and have been working with it since 2006, with about 20 or more songs released to date, the last 6 of which under the "Rythmik Love" Trademark.
I started taking music much more seriously after 2008 when I met Amie Cox, my Singer and Girlfriend, she had always wanted to be a singer and though I'd never really written mainstream Dance or Pop music, I set to work!
After a few months I came up with 4 songs for her to write lyrics to, to my surprise she had melodies arranged and ready pretty qiuckly, we got a cheap mic to test out her vocals, and found that despite her voice being lacklustre from smoking and some lifestyle misdirection there was a definite possibility we could produce quality music from home (Independantly) with more practice.
It's now past halfway through 2009, and we have gotten better equipment, Amie is practicing her heart out to get fit and get her voice back to strength - she spent much of her childhood/teenage years singing in pubs and clubs (karaoke) to britney spears etc, and won quite a few minor competitions including winning her mum the odd free drink.
I'm very confident that we'll be ready to go live with our music sometime in 2010!
I am constantly refining my technique, mixing, mastering, and general sound engineering and song structure, spending up to 14 hours a day either studying, practicing or formulating techniques and ideas to do with all subjects above.
I have no real musical theory backing me, I have learnt guitar by ear or with tablature since I started playing and my favourite bands of all time would be Pink Floyd and Opeth so it's been an incredibly interesting journey so far.
I plan on reviewing other Indie Artists in the future, and getting more involved with the online and offline community, we're slowly working our way to high (Studio) quality recordings and I think it's about time we made ourselves known :)
